Deepika Padukone to get engaged to Ranveer Singh on her birthday?

After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, looks like another power couple is set to tie the knot. If rumours are to be believed, Deepika Padukone will be exchanging rings with beau Ranveer Singh on her birthday. Deepika turns 32 on January 5th and the couple will reportedly be in Sri Lanka to celebrate the day. 

Deepika and Ranveer rang in the New Year with their respective families in the Maldives and now the couple will celebrate Deepika's birthday in Sri Lanka and even get engaged. 

Deepika and Ranveer haven't been spotted much together in public last year and there were reports that suggested that the two had parted ways. But sources close to the couple stated that the two were very much together and photos of them holidaying also surfaced. 

Deepika and Ranveer met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela, and started dating soon after. While they have never openly admitted to their relationship, both have expressed in several interviews that how important they are for each other. 

It was a tumultuous 2017 for the two actors professionally, with their film Padmavati not getting released amid opposition from political parties and fringe groups. The film is scheduled to finally release in February 2018. 

There has been no confirmation on their engagement news from either Ranveer or Deepika yet.
