Amazon Obhijaan trailer: Bengali superstar Dev heads to the rainforest in this adventure film

Bengali superstar Dev is all set to star in Amazon Obhijaan. The trailer of the film was released online in not just Bengali but five other languages on December 1. A sequel to superhit Bengali film Chander Pahar, Amazon Obhijaan is based on noted novelist Bibhutibhushan Bandhopadhyay's characters. Written and directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, the film is touted as the most expensive Bengali movie ever. 

Amazon Obhijaan will be released on December 22 in six languages. Here is the Hindi trailer of the film. 

While Chander Pahar was based on Shankar’s(Dev) adventures in Africa, Amazon Obhijaan sends him to the Amazon rainforest where he looks for El Dorado, the lost city of gold. Giving him company this time are a bunch anacondas, crocodiles, jaguars. 

The film also features actress Laboni Sarkar, Svetlana Gulakova and David James.
