Ajay Devgn and Kajol's son Yug becomes the youngest to take up viral fitness challenge

Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s son Yug Devgn is possibly the youngest participant of Fitness Challenge that has gone viral on social media with celebrities challenging one another to prove that they are fit. 

7-year-old Yug, in a video posted by his proud father Ajay on his Instagram page, can be seen doing a mix of exercises including push-ups, a free-style cartwheel and others. The video is less than half-a-minute and ends with a disclaimer that these exercises should be done only under the guidance of trained professionals.

The challenge kickstarted with the Union minister (youth affairs & sports) Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore throwing in #HumFitTohIndiaFit challenge for a few people and thus starting the chain. Rajyavardhan posted a video on his Twitter account on May 22, asking Indians to share their fitness mantra (in hope to inculcate a fitness culture in India).

Till now many actors and sports celebrities have taken up the challenge. Some names include Hrithik Roshan, Gul Panag, Naga Chaitanya, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, south Indian actor Lakshmi Manchu, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Madhur Bhandarkar, Remo D’souza, Karan Johar, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Yogeshwar Dutt, Sania Mirza (who is pregnant and due in October), Sushil Kumar, Parupalli Kashyap and Virat Kohli among others.
