Earthquake with magnitude 4.6 hits Delhi-NCR region

According to the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the epicentre of the medium-intensity earthquake was 16 kilometers ESE of Rohtak in Haryana.
Earthquake tremors were felt in parts of Delhi and NCR for around eight to ten seconds around at 9.08 pm on Friday, prompting panic-stricken people to rush out of their homes.
The magnitude is measured to be 4.6 on the Richter Scale, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

According to the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the epicentre of the medium-intensity earthquake was 16 kilometers ESE of Rohtak in Haryana and its depth was 3.3 km beneath the ground.
No casualties or damage to properties have been reported so far.
Previously, an earthquake of magnitude 2.2 had had struck the national capital on May 15.
