Finally, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee broke her silence on the movie, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ saying, “Ahead of elections, they have come up with a movie. I do not endorse the kind of politics Congress does hence we parted ways several years back and then I formed the Trinamool Congress. But, I will say that it is not in a good taste,” Banerjee said.
She attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him a ‘disastrous’ Prime Minister without naming him directly, “If they talk of Accidental Prime Minister we should not forget we have a disastrous Prime Minister. Have you seen the way he (PM Modi) looks at people? He scares people and they say look ‘gabbar’ has arrived.”
Banerjee was speaking at the inauguration of the Jatra Utsav in Barasat, West Bengal today.

Banerjee launched a full scathing attack on the Central government for reportedly sending letters through the post office highlighting the achievements of the central government.
“Letters from the BJP and the government reaching people’s houses highlighting the government’s achievements. This is nothing but cheating. They have looted people through demonetisation, GST and left two crore youth jobless and are shamelessly sharing their achievements. I want to tell everyone, do not be fooled by these letters. Whatever little schemes you are getting is solely because of the state government,” she said.
