The man's son Peddiraju reached Ludhiana on Sunday and was returning with his father to their native place, police said.

A 60-year-old hearing and speech impaired man reunited with his family through the popular video-sharing app TikTok.

The man went missing from Telangana two years ago, and was found in Punjab through a TikTok video.

Police traced R Venkateshwarlu's location to Ludhiana after the man's daughter and son saw him taking food in a video posted on TikTok.

He had gone missing from Bhadradri-Kothagudem district in April 2018.

The man's son Peddiraju reached Ludhiana on Sunday and was returning with his father to their native place, police said.

Police traced the missing man and arranged a video call with his family, through which his son identified him. His son then set out for Ludhiana to bring back his father. A special pass was arranged for his son, amid the lockdown.

The family expressed happiness and thanked everyone who helped them in reuniting the man with his family.
