Aam Aadmi Party members met with the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday over the ongoing sealing drive issue in the capital city. A Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee was set up to find a solution to the sealing drive issue.

"Representatives of all 3 parties along with Council of Ministers met SC Monitoring Committee. Urged them to stop sealing till SC judgement on this issue," Kejriwal tweeted.

After a meeting last week, the AAP and the Congress had agreed to hold an all-party meeting along with the Monitoring Committee to find a solution to the sealing drive.

A Supreme Court-appointed committee ordered various municipal corporations in the national capital region to carry out sealing drives. Hundreds of commercial established have borne the brunt of the drive that began in December last year.

The sealing drive has been carried out to keep a check on the violators who did not pay 'conversion charges' or violated Delhi Master Plan.
