COVID-19: Rajasthan reports 29 cases, Madhya Pradesh announces 94 cases

Rajasthan on Wednesday reported 29 new coronavirus cases taking the total number of cases to 2,393 in the state.

Fifty-two people have died due to the virus in Rajasthan. According to the state health department, 781 patients have recovered from the disease.

Agra in Uttar Pradesh recorded 21 new cases in the last 24 hours taking the total number of COVID-19 cases to 425. Eleven people have died in the city due to the virus.

Haryana added to the growing list of coronavirus cases with 308 cases with three deaths, the state health department announced.

Madhya Pradesh announced 94 new COVID-19 cases with the total number of cases rising to 1,466. There have been 65 deaths due to the virus in the state.

In Karnataka, nine new coronavirus cases were reported with the total number of cases rising to 532 in the state. Twenty people have died due to the virus in the state.

In Andhra Pradesh, 73 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours with the number of cases rising to 1,332. Thirty-one people have died due to the virus in the state. However, there have been no deaths in the past 24 hours in the state.

Meanwhile, government sources told ANI that the Indian Navy is readying its landing platform dock for INS Jalashwa and two amphibious warships for evacuating Indian citizens from Gulf countries, if the government decided to go ahead.
