'Citizens of the country should always think about the security of the country. Country's security should be an election agenda. Every country must think about security and it should become criteria for voting,' Shah added.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah said on Monday that he is confident that his party will get the mandate again in this election and that Congress will remain out of power for at least 5 years.

Talking about "zero tolerance on terror", Amit Shah said Modi's government has shown that no terror attack will go unpunished and the country will give a befitting reply to all such attacks.

"Jab hamla hoga to goli ka jawab gole se diya jayega (When attacked, we will respond to bullets with bombs)," the BJP chief told Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary at Zee News's 'India Ka DNA' conclave.

"BJP's aim is to change the country and not worry about Lutyens Delhi and its media. Congress coined Hindu terror for vote bank. Now even the court has ruled that the case was cooked up," he said.

He said that people should always think about the security of the country and it was a good thing that it had become an election issue.

"Citizens of the country should always think about the security of the country. Country's security should be an election agenda. Every country must think about security and it should become criteria for voting," Shah said.
