Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit today hit out at the government questioning the implications of surgical strikes.

Calling it a drama, the Congress leader said that surgical strike had no impact.

''One thing is very clear with this [Pulwama terror attack] that all the drama of surgical strike and their policies on Pakistan are clearly not working. We have to think in a different way and I don't think this government is able to keep our borders safe. On one hand, you are saying that there is no enemy like Pakistan and on the other hand, you are holding an NSC meeting," Dikshit told ANI

The surgical strikes were conducted by the Indian army on September 29, 2016, across the Line of Control (LOC). The Indian army led by the PM Modi destroyed terrorist launch pads and killed many terrorists.

The Congress leader's remarks came after five soldiers were killed in the Pulwama attack carried out by Pakistan- based Jaish-e-Mohammed.
