China's fighter planes and helicopters have been undertaking reconnaissance sorties over north Doklam, intelligence report said.

The Chinese Air Force reconnaissance effort is being backed up by the People's Liberation Army(PLA) on the ground, intelligence sources say.

According to intelligence sources, the Chinese Army has been carrying out "intrusive patrolling" near Doklam in the areas held by the Royal Bhutan Army at Lhariong, Sarithang, Sinchulumpa and Pangka La  PLA.

Despite the onset of winter, the Chinese Army is continuing with "force consolidation" in the western sector, intelligence sources said.

The Chinese army has constructed "field defences" in north Doklam and has put around 25 "small to medium-sized tents" along open communication trenches in the Doka La Spur area, intelligence sources noted.

An Army observation post with a China flag has also been spotted in the area.

Chinese army convoy continue to ferry troops and logistics supplies towards Doka La Spur via Sinche La, intelligence sources confirm.
