Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be questioned by Delhi Police on May in 18 in connection with the assault on the state's chief secretary

The alleged assault on Delhi Chief Secretary  Anshu Prakash took place in February.

News channels later showed visuals of Prakash — caught on CCTV — walking out of the chief minister's residence.

He later claimed he had been assaulted there by two AAP ministers and that the attack on him had taken place in front of Kejriwal.

Prakash had reportedly been summoned to the chief minister's residence to discuss the distribution of below-poverty-line rations which Delhi's AAP government said was being stymied by the faulty implementation of Aadhaar.

The AAP later put out a statement calling Prakash's allegations "ludicrous".

They added that Prakash had told the MLAs that he was not answerable to them, only to the Lieutenant Governor.

And that Prakash had "used bad language" with the MLAs.

The two AAP MLAs accused of the assault later surrendered to police.
