BSP, SP alliance is similar to snake and shrew: Yogi Adityanath
Follow UsUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has attacked the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) for forming an alliance in the upcoming by-polls in Uttar Pradesh.
While addressing a rally in Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath said, "Today we are hearing that an alliance is being formed between the SP and the BSP. This alliance between the two is like an alliance between a snake and a shrew".
He added "This alliance just goes to show the pitiable situation the two parties have reached. Their coming together shows their nervousness before a big storm that is coming their way".
The chief minister also called the alliance between the two parties as "unnatural allies".

The two arch-rivals in the Uttar Pradesh politics, Bahujan Samaj Party and the Samajwadi Party, have decided to come together to fight against the BJP in the upcoming by-polls in the state.
Polls in Gorakhpur and Phulpur Lok Sabha constituencies are scheduled to be held on March 11.
The seat in the two constituencies was vacated by Yogi Adityanath and his deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in 2017.
Upendra Dutt Shukla will contest for BJP from Gorakhpur, Kushalendra Singh Patel will be its candidate from Phulpur.
