BSF reports more coronavirus cases; Delhi records 13 deaths in last 24 hours

In Rajasthan, 21 coronavirus cases was reported in the last 24 hours taking the total number of positive cases to 4,056

India's Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday reported nine more coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

The cases were reported in Delhi, Kolkata and Tripura.

13 deaths were reported in India's national capital with 406 positive COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the number of coronavirus cases to 7,639. Eighty-six people have died due to the virus in Delhi. 

In Rajasthan, 21 coronavirus cases was reported in the last 24 hours taking the total number of positive cases to 4,056. The number of active cases now stands at 1,563 with 115 fatalities.

Andhra Pradesh reported 33 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases in the state has now risen to 2,051

In a relief to authorities, Uttarakhand reported no new case of coronavirus. 

Meanwhile, the US embassy in India announced today that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has committed $3.6 million to assist India in its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
