Blackbuck poaching case: Salman Khan cannot travel abroad without court's permission

The Jodhpur court on Saturday ruled that actor Salman Khan, convicted in the Blackbuck poaching case, will need to seek its permission every time he travels abroad.

The Bollywood actor who was granted bail in the blackbuck poaching case had earlier filed a petition before Jodhpur District and Sessions Court seeking permission to visit four countries.

The Jodhpur District and Sessions Court had previously granted him permission to travel outside India.

Salman Khan has been convicted in a 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

The actor was granted bail with some conditions, one of them being that he could not leave the country. The other condition was two bonds of Rs 25,000 each.

Khan was sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur while filming for his movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1998.
