Rahul Gandhi's seating row: 'Democracy works around rules and not people,' retorts BJP
Bhartiya Janata Party reacted to the allegations of indulging in 'cheap politics' after Rahul Gandhi was seen sitting in the sixth row during the Republic day parade.

BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said, "democracy workes around rules and not people, it shows that Congress party still believes in aristocracy and not in democracy."
Rao further asked the Congress if they don't believe in democracy?
On January 26, during the Republic Day celebrations, Rahul Gandhi took the designated seat in the sixth row which prompted an uproar among Congress leaders.

Gandhi was seated along with the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Congress sources said the party presidents, including Sonia Gandhi, were always seated in the front row at the Republic Day parade.
During last year celebrations, Sonia Gandhi was seated in the first row with BJP president Amit Shah.
