Bihar: NIA arrests student leader for alleged links to LeT

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a loval student leader from Bihar, accusing him of harbouring and assisting the main accused Shaikh Abdul Naeem, an alleged operative of the terrorist organisation, the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Dhannu Raja was arrested on December 1 from Bihar's Gopalganj district for his alleged involvement in harboring, providing logistics and other assistance to Abdul Naeem.
The 23-year-old has been charged under Sections 120B, 121, 121A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 17, 18, 19, 20, 38 39 and 40 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
After being arrested Dhannu Raja was produced before the NIA special court in Patna, which granted his transit remand till December 5.
He has been brought to Delhi and will be produced before the state's special NIA court on or before December 5.
