Defamation case: Rahul Gandhi to be present in court on April 23
A court in Bhiwandi has asked Congress President Rahul Gandhi to be present in the court on April 23 for framing charges against him in connection with a defamation case.
The court granted him exemption after his lawyer presented an exemption application. Gandhi was supposed to be present in the court today.
A defamation case was filed against Congress president Rahul Gandhi for making a comment on RSS.
At a rally in Thane in March 2014, he had said: "RSS people killed Gandhi".
