Bawana fire: Delhi govt announces 5 lakh ex-gratia to victims
The rural development minister of Delhi government, Gopal Rai, on Sunday announced a compensation of Rs 5 Lakh to next of kin of the victims and Rs 1 lakh to the injured in the Bawana fire incident.
He also said that an investigation was underway to find the reason for the fire.

The Delhi Police Commissioner has transferred the investigation of the Bawana Fire to Crime branch.
A preliminary report released by the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation has stated that the factory was carrying out illegal packing and storing of firecrackers though it had clearance for dealing only with plastic goods.
