At least 33 people were killed and 37 others were injured after a private bus fell into a drain in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday.
The accident occurred near Banjar area of Kullu when the bus fell into a deep gorge.

Superintendent of Police, Kullu, Shalini Agnihotri said that the bodies of 15 people killed in the accident were recovered.
"The injured were taken to the local hospital in Banjar," she added.
Eyewitnesses said the bus was overcrowded and the driver probably lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a turn.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
"Deeply saddened by the bus accident in Kullu. Condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. I hope the injured recover soon. The Himachal Pradesh Government is providing all possible assistance that is required," said Prime Minister Modi on the official twitter handle of PMO India.
