Assembly polls: Over 55% voter turnout recorded in Rajasthan, Telangana till 3pm

The voter turnout for the assembly elections till 1 pm was recorded as 49.15 per cent in Telangana and 41.53 per cent in Rajasthan.
Over fifty-five per cent voters exercised their electoral rights in state assembly elections in poll-bound Telangana and Rajasthan till 3pm on Friday.
According to reports, while Rajasthan witnessed 59.43 per cent voter turnout by 3 pm, 56.17 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Telangana by 3 pm.

The voter turnout for the assembly elections till 1 pm was recorded as 49.15 per cent in Telangana and 41.53 per cent in Rajasthan.

The turnout till 11 am was 23.4 per cent in Telangana and 21.89 per cent in Rajasthan.
Nearly 9 per cent voters had cast their votes in Telangana by 9 am and 6.11 per cent in Rajasthan.
Telangana and Rajasthan are undergoing elections today to elect their legislative assembly members.
While the polling in Telangana started at 7 am, voting in Rajasthan began at 8 am.
The polling in Telangana will end at 5 pm while in 13 constituencies classified as Left Wing Extremist-affected, polling ends an hour before at 4 pm.
