Assembly elections: Polling concludes in Rajasthan, 72.7% turnout till 5pm

Polling concluded in poll-bound Rajasthan on Friday evening. According to reports, Rajasthan recorded around 72.7 per cent voter turnout till 5pm.
Official figures for Telangana are still awaited, which saw over 55 per cent turnout by 3pm. Polling is still underway in some parts of the state.
The interim voter turnout recorded so far in Telangana comes to around 67 per cent.

The turnout till 11 am was 23.4 per cent in Telangana and 21.89 per cent in Rajasthan.
Nearly 9 per cent voters had cast their votes in Telangana by 9 am and 6.11 per cent in Rajasthan.

Telangana and Rajasthan are undergoing elections today to elect their legislative assembly members.
While the polling in Telangana started at 7 am, voting in Rajasthan began at 8 am.
