AAP party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said he will not join the opposition alliance for the 2019 elections.

Kejriwal made his comments on Thursday in Haryana.

"The AAP will not be a part of any alliance in 2019," PTI quoted Kejriwal as telling reporters in Rohtak.

Kejriwal added that the AAP would contest the Haryana Legislative Assembly polls and the general elections from all seats.

Kejiwal then went on to compare Haryana to Delhi, saying that when it comes to development — a word made popular by Prime Minister Narendra Modi — the former lags behind the national capital.

PTI quoted Kejriwal as saying his Haryana counterpart, who like Modi is from the BJP, should learn from the Delhi government how development is done.

"We have done revolutionary work in the education and health sectors in Delhi," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal asked that when the the AAP government can bring about revolutions in the power, water, health and education sectors, and without full statehood, then why can't the Khattar government do it?
