Army foils infiltration bid in J&K's Uri, 5 terrorists killed
Security forces on Monday foiled an infiltration attempt by Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists near the Line of Control (LoC) in Dulanja area of J&K's Uri sector, killing 5 terrorists, an official said.
A defence spokesman said that 5 militants were killed.
A joint team of Jammu and Kashmir police and Army carried out the operation.
After firing exchanges, the 5 intruders were killed by the security forces.

Security forces launched the cordon and search operation after receiving information of presence of terrorists in the area.

The militants were trying to sneak into the Indian side of Line of Control in the wee hours on Monday but the alert security forces foiled their infiltration bid.
