A suspected Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent in Maharashtra's Nagpur has been arrested by Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror squad on Monday for allegedly spying and leaking technical information from BrahMos Aerospace missile unit.

The man has been identified as Nishant Agarwal who had been working with BrahMos unit since the last four years, reports said.

As per reports, he has been booked under the Official Secrets Act for allegedly leaking technical secrets to Pakistan.

Nishant is currently under investigation. The agencies are also trying to ascertain the details that he might have shared with the neighbouring country.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) facility from where he was arrested makes propellents, or fuel, for the BrahMos missile. 

BrahMos Aerospace, which has its base near Nagpur, is a joint venture between India and Russia.
