Anti-India banners forcibly removed from Pakistan consulate in Iran

In yet another blow to Pakistan's efforts to spread hate against India abroad, Iranian officials forcibly removed anti-India banners from Pakistan's consulate in the Iranian city of Mashhad.
The incident took place on August 15.
Tehran termed the action 'undiplomatic ' warning Islamabad to refrain from spreading hate against any third country from its soil. However, Pakistan remained defiant saying the country was within rights to display the messages.
Pakistan's deputy envoy in Iran raised the matter with Iran Foreign Ministry Mohammad Javad Zarif via note verbale. Iran also added that while Pakistan is a brotherly country, India is not enemy either.
Anti-India protests have been on the rise in Iran ever since the abrogation of Article 370 which stripped the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir of its special status as Pakistan missions and diaspora continue to organise them without any permission.
This comes after the massive vandalisation of the Indian high commission in London by Pakistani diaspora and Khalistan supporters.
Global protests also took place outside Indian missions in Washington, South Korea and Germany by several Pakistani groups.
As Pakistan receives another setback, the question remains that when will Pakistan stop its petty bid to garner global support against India?
Pakistan had observed the so-called 'Kashmir solidarity day' on August 15 to protest against the abrogation of article 370.
