<p>Social Activist Anna Hazare has blamed the Centre for the rising farmer suicides in the country.</p>

<p>While addressing a&nbsp;&#39;Rashtriya Kisan Mahapanchayat&#39; in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, he said that he had written a number of letters to the centre, but they remained unaddressed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;Today the farmer of this country is in a poor shape. The Centre is responsible for the suicides committed by the farmer. It is yet to implement the recommendations of Swaminathan Commission. I have written a number of letters to the Centre, but nothing happened&quot;.</p>

<p>To address the grief of the farmers, Hazare will undertake a peaceful protest in Delhi&#39;s Ramlila Maidan from March 23.</p>

<p>He said he had toured nine states and requested everyone to join the movement and help farmers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
