Amitabh Bachchan congratulates Rajinikanth on his political debut

As Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth announced his much-anticipated entry into politics, wishes poured in from fans and eminent personalities from all across.

Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan also congratulated his long-time friend Rajinikanth and conveyed his wishes on the start of his political journey.

"My dear friend, my colleague and a humble considerate human, RAJNIKANTH, announces his decision to enter politics .. my best wishes to him for his success !!," read Mr Bachchan's tweet.

The Thalaiva responded to Sr. Bachchan tweeting, "Thank you very much for your kind wishes respected Amithji."

Other personalities who congratulated Rajini sir on his political debut included celebrated Indian actors like Kamal Hassan, Mohan Babu and Riteish Deshmukh.
