Afzal Guru's son clears J&K class 12 board exam with 88%

The 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru's son, Ghalib Afzal Guru has cleared the class 12 Jammu and Kashmir board exams with distinction securing 88 per cent in Science stream.

The examinations were conducted in November 2017. Out of the 55,163 candidates who appeared in the examination, 33,893 qualified, Jammu and Kashmir School of Board Education stated.

The overall pass percentage was 61.44. The number of girls passing the exam is 64.31 while that of boys is 58.92 per cent. 

Afzal Guru was sentenced to death in 2013 for his role in 2001 Parliament attack.
