Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur will return to jail every 15 days after they are released -- to treat inmates.

Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, who were acquitted of the murder of their daughter Aarushi and their help Hemraj by the Allahabad High Court on Thursday, are expected to be released from Dasna Jail in Ghaziabad on Monday.

The two have since November 2013 been lodged in Dasna Jail, where PTI reported a jail official as saying they helped revive the near-defunct dental department.

"We were concerned about the fate of our dental department after their (Talwars) release. They (Talwars) have assured us that they would visit jail to attend to inmates every 15 days even after their release," PTI reported jail doctor Sunil Tyagi as saying.

PTI reported Tyagi as saying that besides prisoners, Rajesh and Nupur had also been treating jail staff, police officials, and their children.

"Since Talwars have come here (prison), they have treated thousands of patients who are happy with their services," PTI quoted Tyagi as saying.

The prison authorities have tied up with a Ghaziabad-based dental college to treat patients after the Talwars' departure.

PTI said that since the Talwars' acquittal, there has been a steady increase in the number of patients wanting to consult the couple.

Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were convicted of the murder of Aarushi and Hemraj by a CBI court in Ghaziabad on November 26, 2013. They were sentenced to life imprisonment.

PTI quoted sources within the jail as saying Rajesh's brother Dinesh would accompany the Talwars on their fortnightly visits.
