In a preliminary report released by the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (DSIIDC), AAP government has blamed the BJP led civic body for the fire at Bawana factory.

The DSIIDC said in its report that it does not have any regulatory functions and it is not authorised to issue any type of license or permission for factory construction.

It said it is primarily involved in organised and orderly development of industrial estates.

The report was submitted to Delhi industries Minister Satyendra Jain who said that the municipal corporation holds the responsibility of issuing license and approving building plans.

He added that they have the authority to stop any illegal factory from building in the industrial area and they should have taken care of it.

He said now they are doing politics over it.
