8 rescued as building collapses in Mumbai

A two-storey building at Hindustan Nagar in Wadala’s Antop Hill, housing a grocery store on the ground floor, collapsed on Saturday afternoon. 

Eight people were safely evacuated from the premises.

The rescued people were rushed to a nearby hospital. 

The reason behind the collapse is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited. 

According to hospital officials, the victims are safe and have sustained only minor injuries on their hands and back.
