30 trains delayed, 18 cancelled as fog engulfs Delhi
Heavy fog and temperature drop in Delhi continues to disrupt everyday life as trains take a major hit with 30 of them being delayed, six rescheduled and 18 cancelled.

The temperature in Delhi dropped to 6.3 and the visibility record was 300m at 8:30 am yesterday at Safdarjung Observatory, the MeT department informed.
Last week, a heavy blanket of fog covered most parts of north India including Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
On Sunday, 19 trains were delayed 6 were rescheduled and 17 cancelled due to the same reason.
Meanwhile, the air quality index of Lodhi Road was recorded in the 'poor' category, with Particulate Matter (PM) 2.5 at 290 and PM 10 at 276, thus depicting degrading air quality.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a maximum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, with lows of seven degree Celsius, coupled with a dense blanket of fog during the day.
