3 terrorists killed in encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian

Three terrorists were neutralised in an encounter that broke out in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Friday.

The encounter broke out between the security forces and the terrorists in Dragad Sugan area of Shopian district earlier this morning.

The forces have also recovered arms and ammunition from the killed terrorists.

The identities of the slain terrorists are yet to be ascertained.

Hours after this attack, two policemen were injured in another encounter between security forces and terrorists in Marwah area of Kishtwar.

The area has been cordoned off as the exchange of fire is currently underway.

A search operation has been initiated by security forces in the area.
