19 held in connection with attack on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's convoy

Police arrested 19 people in connection with attack on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's convoy yesterday. An Investigation is underway, according to Anand Kishore, Commissioner, Patna Division.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's convoy came under attack in Buxar's Nandar during his "Vikas Samiksha Yatra". The attackers pelted stones but the chief minister was rescued safely. 

people of Nandan village wanted the chief minister to visit the Dalit basti which led to a disagreement.

Nitish Kumar was on a state-wide tour to take a stock of state government's development schemes over the years when his convoy came under attack.
