Dharavi slum area in Mumbai reported 13 new cases coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

The number of cases in the city's biggest slum area has now gone up to 288 with 14 people dead due to the virus.

The death toll in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district rose to five after a 57-year-old man who had tested positive for coronavirus passed away on Monday. 

In Jammu and Kashmir, the death toll in the union territory stood at seven after 546 positive cases were reported in all, including 375 active cases. There were 58 cases in Jammu and 488 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the state government has started listing students and labourers who are stranded in other states amid the lockdown. 

Haryana today reported five new coronavirus cases taking total number of coronavirus cases to 301. There have been five deaths due to the virus, the state health department said.

In Tamil Nadu, 52 new COVID-19 cases were reported today taking the total number of cases to 1,937 in the state.

In Chandigarh, four new coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours taking the total number of positive cases to 40.
