The swearing-in ceremony of the new government is scheduled to take place on May 30 when Narendra Modi along with the Members of Union Council of Ministers will take the oath.

The President will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Prime Minister and other members of the Union Council of Ministers at 7 pm on May 30, 2019, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, a tweet said from President of India official handle.

The oath ceremony will be held at 7pm in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Modi staked claim to form the government on Saturday after he was unanimously elected as leader of the NDA coalition. 

An NDA delegation led by BJP President Amit Shah handed over a letter to the President stating that Narendra Modi had been elected as the leader of the BJP Parliamentary Party.

Letters of support from NDA constituent parties were also handed over to the President.
