Zaira Wasim, who made her debut in 2016 with the film 'Dangal' has decided to call it quits with the industry. 

Zaira Wasim, who stepped into Bollywood 5 years ago with the film 'Dangal' posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram on Sunday morning announcing her decision to disassociate with the industry. 

In her post, Kashmiri-born 'Dangal' superstar said that “though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here” and talked about the challenges and hardships she has faced as her line of work lead her to a path of ignorance. 

She also felt that her relationship with her religion was threatened and that she needed to start afresh.

The 18-year-old actor mentioned that as an actor, she continued to observe things and twist her perceptions as she wanted them to be, without really understanding that the key was to see them as they were.

Numerous fans and family members applauded Zaira's decision and extended their love and support for her in the comments.
