Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in a dreamy setting of Villa del Balbiano in Italy this year. DeepVeer fans had a gala time this year, seeing so many posts of the couple as they threw wedding celebratory bashes for colleagues, making stunning appearances together.
The two also made waves being spotted together at other celebrity wedding functions like that of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal.
As the year ends, Deepika has also shot for a popular magazine’s cover photo in Mumbai. As pictures from the shoot were released, excerpts from the interview also made way. In a candid conversation, Deepika spoke about her relationship with Ranveer and their love story. As she spoke in great details, Deepika also surprised her fans with a major revelation about Ranveer and herself. She revealed that the couple only got married now but were engaged for four years now.
She also spoke about why she took so long to say yes for marriage and what makes everything so special with him.
Deepika and Ranveer were last seen in ‘Padmaavat’, with regards to their film together. Ranveer’s ‘Simmba’ released today while Deepika will soon start work on her first film post-marriage come the new year. She has signed a film with Meghna Gulzar.
