This will be the first time when real-life father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor will be seen together on the silver screen as reel-life father-daughter duo.
Come 2019 and you will see real-life father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor together on the big screen in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’. Rajkummar Rao and Sonam have been paired opposite each other in the film and what a refreshing pair, we must say!
Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the makers released the film’s trailer today.
The trailer opens with Rajkummar announcing a play by the same name as the title of the film, with focus then being shifted to the camaraderie shared by Anil and Sonam.

The film follows the plot of Anil and the rest of the family members looking for a suitable match for Sonam while she has some other plans. Meanwhile, from the first look of the trailer, it hints at Sonam playing a homosexual in the film.
The trailer closes with Sonam saying: “Love story mein koi na koi syappa toh hota he hota hai”.
The film also stars Juhi Chawla in a pivotal role. It is all set to hit the theatres on February 1.
