Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie turned one on Wednesday. The royal family traditionally shares a birthday photo with the public on their official social media handles but Harry and Meghan went a step ahead and shared a birthday video instead.

Shared on the Save The Children UK Instagram page, the video has Meghan reading out one of Archie's favourite books, 'Duck! Rabbit!' to the birthday boy who looks rather impatient to turn the pages much before his mother finishes reading it out aloud.  The video has been shot by Prince Harry- who can be briefly heard making duck sounds to catch his toddler's attention.

The couple wanted to use the special day to highlight the continuing need to get food and learning aids like books to children around the world and supported the @SaveWithStories campaign in the US which helps kids who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The US chapter was created by Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams earlier in March.

After quitting their senior roles in the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan have now moved to Los Angeles with Archie.
On his first birthday, Archie was also wished by his uncle and aunt- Prince William and Kate Middleton and the Queen as well.

The couple was earlier scheduled to travel to Scotland to ring in Archie's first birthday with the family but it was canceled owing to the outbreak of coronavirus.
