Warner Bros. announces release dates for films on Sesame Street, Tom and Jerry

Yet-to-be-titled, the film on Sesame Street will begin shooting in the month of June, according to studio insiders.
Warner Bros. and MGM's Sesame Street movie starring Anne Hathaway is set to release in theatres on January 15, 2021.
The studio also announced on Tuesday that it will release director Tim Story's Tom and Jerry film on April 16, 2021. Both films are yet to be titled.
The film Sesame Street will begin shooting in the month of June, according to studio insiders.
It will be helmed by Portlandia co-creator Jonathan Krisel while 21 Laps' Shawn Levy is producing alongside Michael Aguilar and Entertainment 360.
Apart from Anne Hathaway, it will have appearances from Sesame Street residents Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster, is said to be a musical.
Meanwhile, Tom and Jerry film will be a live-action hybrid based on the classic animated series created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera that was first introduced in 1940.
