Vikas Bahl gets a show-cause notice from directors' association, his license may get terminated

Following multiple accusations from women, Vikas Bahl has now been sent a show-cause notice by the Indian Film and Television Directors'Association(IFTDA).
The president of IFTDA, Ashoke Pandit, addressed the media on Tuesday and stated, "We stand by dignity, honour and respect of women in our industry. Also decided to open a legal dept in our organisation where if such cases happen, a member can come to us. We'll keep her name a secret, give assistance and ensure she feels safe,"

"IFTDA has taken a firm stand against Vikas Bahl by issuing a show cause notice and asked him to respond within one week's time failing which his membership will be terminated," a statement issued by the association read.
Meanwhile, Reliance Entertainment may ask Bahl to disassociate himself from his upcoming film 'Super 30' which is up for release in January 2019. The film's leading man, Hrithik Roshan, in a statement, has asked the producers to look into the matter and expressed his reluctance in working with Bahl.
