Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' earns Rs 200 crore within 4 weeks of its release

Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam starrer 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is officially a blockbuster. The film which has been helmed by Aditya Dhar has become the first mid-level film to have crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh marked that the film achieved this feat particularly because of its performance in multiplexes. 

"Uri: The Surgical Strike hits double century. Has ample stamina and showcasing (at multiplexes) to cross Rs. 225 crore," he tweeted.

Adarsh also described the film as sensational, saying that after 'Baahubali 2', it was the first film to become the highest grosser in week 4.

'Uri: The Surgical Strike' clashed with Anupam Kher's 'The Accidental Prime Minister' at the box office on 11th January and clearly emerged as the winner.

Star of the moment, Vicky tweeted a special poster of the film marking the film's earnings.

The actor also shared a behind the scene video from the sets of the film, recalling how grueling night shoots were it because of the love that the film has been receiving.
