Rajshri Films’ Raj Kumar Barjatya passed away today after being hospitalised in a Mumbai hospital on Monday.
The veteran film producer was admitted at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Father of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya and son of the founder of Rajshri Pictures’ Tarachand Barjatya, Raj Kumar has several films to his credit as a producer. The most famous being ‘'Hum Aapke Hain Koun', 'Vivaah' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo'.
Trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed the news on his social media handle and tweeted, "Terribly shocking news. Shri RajKumarBarjatya passed away some minutes back at RelianceHurkissondas Hospital. Can’t believe this. Met him just a week back at his Prabhadevi office. He spent so much time with me and my family. He looked perfectly alright then. And now, he’s gone!"
