Apparently, Katy was auctioning off a motorcycle date with Orlando to raise money for the thousands of displaced victims of the Woolsey Fires in California on Sunday. During the One Love Malibu festival, she realised that she didn’t like the idea of someone else going out with him, even if for just one date and so she paid the tab herself.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Katy paid the highest paid so that no one gets to take her love.
Katy was heard saying in an Instagram video: “You’re going to be holding him in a way that I am not excited about,” and added, “You’re holding his pecs and his six-pack…”
As the bid starts, a fan identified as Lara bid $20,000 for the date with Bloom. Katy then outbid her and said, “I’m sorry, I’m buying it for $50,000” as the audience cheered her.
