Telugu actor Nikhil marries Pallavi Varma in Hyderabad amid lockdown

Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha tied the knot with Pallavi Varma in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad on Thursday. The wedding ceremony took place early in the morning and had very few guests in attendance.  Pallavi is a doctor by profession.

The couple was earlier supposed to get married in April but it was postponed due to the nationwide lockdown. Reports state that the two wanted to postpone their wedding further till the lockdown was completely lifted but their parents insisted on the wedding to take place.

Pictures of the ceremony have been doing the rounds of social media and guests can be seen wearing masks. The wedding was conducted keeping in mind the rules that have been put in place amid the coronavirus pandemic. See all the inside images of the ceremony here.

The couple will have a grand reception from friends in the film industry once the lockdown is lifted.

A few days ago, Nikhil Siddhartha took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and fiancee Pallavi Varma. “Will be together soon. But for now, love you from afar...,” he wrote. The two have been dating for over two years and got engaged earlier this year in February.

Nikhil rose to fame after his 2007 breakout film, 'Happy Days'. He has also been part of films like 'Veedu Theda', 'Kirik Party' and 'Arjun Suravaram'.
