Taylor Swift wrote a Tumblr post saying that her music now belongs to a man she accuses of subjecting her to years of incessant and manipulative bullying.

Taylor Swift has been trending since Sunday after she issued a statement criticising celebrity manager and mogul Scooter Braun as his company acquires her music catalogue.

Calling it the “worst case” sale of back catalogue to Scooter, she wrote a Tumblr post all sad and grossed out that her music now belongs to a man she accuses of subjecting her to years of incessant and manipulative bullying.

It was announced on Sunday that Scooter acquired Big Machine Label Group which released all of Taylor Swift’s studio albums and owns her masters. Swift said she learned of the sale the same day.

Taylor left the Big Machine and signed with Universal in November because, she said, she knew that re-signing with the group that had managed her since she was 15 would only result in her not owning her future work. “When I left my masters in [Big Machine Label Group founder Scott Borchetta’s] hands, I made peace with the fact that eventually, he would sell them,” she wrote. “Never in my worst nightmares did I imagine the buyer would be Scooter.”

She added that Scooter got two clients including Justin Bieber to bully her online about a leaked and illegally recorded snippet of a phone call with Kim Kardashian. She also said Kanye West who is also a Braun client, organized a “revenge porn music video which strips my body naked”.

She said that Scooter not only “stripped her” off her life’s work, which she “wasn’t given an opportunity to buy” but “my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it.”

The celebs are currently divided between supporting Taylor or Scooter in this controversy. While Justin Bieber and the likes called her out for publicly humiliating Scooter, others like Halsey have come out in her support.
