Tanushree Dutta harassment case gets murkier than before as veteran actor Nana Patekar has now decided to take a legal route.
In an update today, Nana’s lawyer, Rajendra Shirodkar told ANI news agency that his client will be sending a legal notice to Tanushree as “she has made false allegations and has spoken untruth”.
He added, “We will send the notice later today which will be basically a notice seeking apology for her statements making allegations.”
It all started with Tanushree giving an interview to an entertainment channel about leaving the industry in which she revealed that her co-actor Nana Patekar had harassed her on set ten years ago while shooting for ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ leading her to walk out of the film. She also accused director Vivek Agnihotri of asking her to ‘strip and dance’ while shooting for ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’.
Nana denied these allegations and said that he will take a legal course and not answer the media as he has not done anything wrong.
Meanwhile, Bollywood celebs are now coming out in support of Tanushree, saying that we must stand with and “believe the survivors”.
