Days after Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar expressed his disappointment over the inclusion of his name on the poster of the 'Narendra Modi' movie, producer of the movie Sandip Singh, clarified on Sunday that he was given approval from T-series Bhushan Kumar.

"I grew up hearing Javed Akhtar sir's songs, I wanted to keep one of his songs in the movie; I spoke to T-series' Bhushan Kumar ji, he agreed to it. I don't know if he (Akhtar) was informed about it, it's the music company's job, "Sandip Singh said.

Javed Akhtar had earlier tweeted the poster of the film and said, “Am shocked to find my name on the poster of this film. Have not written any songs for it."

Akhtar was mentioned in the poster of the movie "Narendra Modi" which is set to release on April 5.

Directed by Omung Kumar, the movie is starring Vivek Oberoi who is playing the role of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On being cast for the role, Vivek in an interview said, "I consider Modiji as an inspiration. Modiji is one of those personalities... if he decides something, if he is clear with his vision, he doesn't fear to achieve his goal. It is very inspirational."
